Customer Mission Authorization

Version 1.2 · Effective October 4, 2026 · Send a Drone, LLC

A Mission Authorization is completed for every Mission, including each repeat order. It has a core section shown on every Mission and modules the platform adds from the order-time answers below. The exact text shown, its checksum, each person who consents, and the time, IP address and browser of each acceptance are recorded with the Mission.

Order-time questions

  1. Are you the owner of the property, the occupant, or ordering for someone else? (Someone else: Module A)
  2. Is the property commercial; residential with one to four dwelling units; residential with five or more units; or a site with more than one parcel or owner? (Module C, R, P or M)
  3. Does anyone other than the owner live in a unit of a one-to-four-unit residential property? (Module R)
  4. Is this Mission for marketing a property for sale or lease? (Module L)
  5. Is this a multi-visit package? (Module K)
  6. Does the Mission include common areas of a homeowners' or property owners' association? (Association consent)
  7. Is the property, or does it adjoin or contain, a facility listed in Terms of Service section 12? (Restricted-location review)

How consent works

  • Who receives a request. Each person whose consent a module requires receives a consent request by email at the address you provide. You must give that person's own email address.
  • What counts as consent. The person opens the request, reads the core consent text, types their full name and confirms. A person consenting for an entity also confirms they are authorized to act for it.
  • Checks. Send a Drone rejects a consent address identical to yours and reviews a consent that comes from your organization's email domain, from the device or internet connection used to place the order, or from a name that does not match the county appraisal district's public owner record. A consent under review does not count until Send a Drone accepts it.
  • Deadline. Every required consent must be recorded at least 24 hours before the scheduled window starts. If one is missing, the Mission is rescheduled once to a new window you choose. If it is missing again, the Mission is cancelled with a full refund.
  • Dispatch. The Mission is offered to Pilots only after every required consent and review is complete.
  • Withdrawal and objection. Any person who consented may withdraw before the flight from their consent page or by emailing support@sendadrone.us with the subject line "Privacy". If an owner, occupant or principal objects, the Mission is held and Send a Drone decides within 2 business days.
  • On the day. The Pilot confirms with the site contact that access and consent are unchanged before flying, and stops if an occupant objects.

Core (every Mission)

Property to be documented: the property above · Mission boundary: the property at the address above · Service: the service selected for this Mission — the deliverables described for that service when ordered

Send a Drone provides observational aerial photographs and video of visible exterior conditions. This Mission is not an interior survey, and it is not a land survey, appraisal, roof certification, electrical opinion, code or engineering inspection, or any other professional certification.

I am the owner or lawful occupant of the property above, or I act for the owner or occupant named in this authorization with authority I can show on request.

I understand that Texas Government Code Chapter 423 allows drone imagery of private property with the consent of its owner or lawful occupant. I authorize Send a Drone, LLC and the assigned independent Pilot to capture, store and deliver images of the property within the Mission boundary, once every consent this authorization requires is recorded.

Every person I name in this authorization is who I say, and the email address I give for each person belongs to that person.

The purpose of this Mission is lawful documentation of the property for the service shown. I am not requesting it to stalk, harass, intimidate or conduct surveillance of any person.

I am ordering for a business or commercial documentation purpose, not for personal, family, or household use.

Neighboring property, roads, vehicles and people may appear incidentally. I am not requesting imagery of them, of dwelling interiors, or of anyone as a subject. Send a Drone may crop, blur or withhold frames to keep that content incidental, and I will not use it to identify or track anyone.

Owners, tenants and people shown may ask Send a Drone to blur or remove imagery. If Send a Drone does so, I will do the same with my copies when asked.

I have disclosed known access limits, gates, tenant issues, association or landlord restrictions, occupied job sites, nearby restricted facilities and any reason a Pilot should not enter or fly over the site. I will provide a site contact who can confirm access and consent on the scheduled day.

My requested date and time window are targets. The assigned Pilot, as remote pilot in command, decides whether a flight can proceed safely and lawfully. Weather, airspace and safety stops are rescheduled under the Cancellation, Refund & Recapture Policy, and items that do not exist or cannot be captured safely or lawfully may be recorded as unable to capture.

Deliverables are observational photographs and video under Send a Drone's Deliverables Standard. I will not represent them as a survey, appraisal, inspection, engineering opinion or official certification.

I have read and agree to the Customer Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation, Refund & Recapture Policy, including the amounts kept if I cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled window or after the Pilot has started travel, the 5-business-day period for reporting a problem with delivered files, and my indemnity for inaccurate statements in this authorization.

Module A — Ordering for an owner or occupant

Recorded fields: the principal's legal name; role (owner, occupant, landlord, association, other); email address.

I am acting for the principal named above, who will receive a consent request for this Mission.

Module C — Commercial property

Recorded fields: landlord or property manager, if different from the occupant, with name and email address.

The Mission boundary covers only premises that I or my principal own or occupy, plus any shared walls, roof areas, pylon signs or common areas whose owner or manager consents to this Mission.

The landlord or property manager named above receives a consent request when the Mission boundary includes shared areas.

Module R — Residential property with one to four dwelling units

Recorded fields: for each dwelling unit within the Mission boundary that is lived in by someone other than the owner, one adult occupant's name and email address.

For each such unit I have named one adult occupant, who will receive a consent request.

Module P — Residential property with five or more units

Recorded fields: owner or property manager, with name and email address.

The owner or property manager named above will receive a consent request, which covers the building exteriors and common areas.

At least 48 hours before the scheduled window, I will post a notice at the property's entrances and common mail area giving the date, window and purpose of the flight, and I will upload a photograph of the posted notice.

No unit, balcony, window or resident is a subject of this Mission.

Module L — Listing Aerials

Listing Aerials may be ordered only by a licensed real estate broker or sales agent, or by a property manager.

Recorded fields: license number, if a broker or agent; the seller's name and email address.

The seller has authorized marketing of the property. I will show the seller's consent by either (a) a consent request to the seller, or (b) uploading the signed listing agreement page that names the seller and authorizes marketing, for Send a Drone to verify before dispatch.

I understand that Send a Drone blurs faces and license plates before delivery, and that no person should be the subject of any listing image.

If the property is lived in by someone other than the seller, Module R also applies.

Module K — Construction Progress 4-Pack

This authorization covers up to four visits to the same property and boundary within 12 months after the first visit.

I will tell Send a Drone promptly if ownership, occupancy, site control or consent changes. Any change requires a new authorization before the next visit.

Before each later visit is dispatched, the ordering customer confirms in one step that authority and consent are unchanged. Without that confirmation the visit is not dispatched. Withdrawing consent stops all remaining visits, and unflown visits are refunded under the Cancellation, Refund & Recapture Policy.

Module M — Multi-parcel or multi-owner site

Recorded fields: one row per parcel or building, with its owner's name and email address, and which buildings are the principal buildings purchased.

Each owner listed will receive a consent request. Parcels without recorded consent are outside the Mission boundary, the Pilot will not deliberately capture them, and they are removed from the required deliverables.

If any principal building I purchased lacks recorded consent by the deadline, the Mission is cancelled with a full refund.

Send a Drone draws the Mission boundary from the consented parcels using county parcel maps before dispatch, and the Pilot receives that boundary map.

Association consent

Recorded fields: the association's manager or a board member, with name and email address.

If the Mission includes association common areas, the person named receives a consent request. Without recorded consent, common areas are outside the Mission boundary.

Restricted-location review

If Send a Drone's address review or the answer to question 7 identifies a facility listed in Terms of Service section 12, the Mission is held for review before dispatch. Send a Drone may require the facility owner's or operator's prior written consent, adjust the boundary, or decline the Mission with a full refund.
