Deliverables & File Retention Notice
Version 1.2 · Send a Drone, LLC
Informational. The binding terms are in Customer Terms of Service sections 8 and 9 and Privacy Policy section 7.
1. What you receive
- Building / Sign Survey: 12 edited stills. Video: none.
- Property Management Exterior: 12 edited stills, plus 6 per additional building purchased. Video: none.
- Listing Aerials: 10 edited stills, faces and license plates blurred. Video: one silent 20–30 second video.
- Roof / Exterior Documentation: 16 edited stills. Video: none.
- Construction Progress (per visit): 12 edited stills. Video: one silent 20–30 second video.
- CRE Site Package: 20 edited stills, including a front elevation of each principal building purchased. Video: one silent 45–60 second video.
Stills are JPEG files, 4000 to 6000 pixels on the long edge, edited only for exposure, white balance, cropping, straightening and lens correction, plus privacy blurring where required. Video is MP4 at 1080p or higher. RAW files and written narratives are not included. Imagery is never altered to misrepresent site conditions. Items outside the Mission boundary, such as parcels or common areas without consent, are not part of the deliverables. The video lengths are what you buy; our quality check allows a small tolerance that does not change your order.
2. Items that can't be captured
Some items don't exist at a property, or can't be captured safely or lawfully on the day. The pilot records the item as "unable to capture" with a reason. We review each note, and accepted notes appear with your deliverables.
3. How files are delivered
After our quality review approves a mission, its files appear in a private gallery on your mission page, with a ZIP download. The files are private and aren't published. Viewing and download links expire soon after you open the page, so reload to get fresh links. Guest customers reach the same gallery through a private link for that mission only; each link works for 7 days, and a new one can be requested from the mission page and is emailed to the address on the mission.
4. When you receive them
Typical delivery is within 2 business days after a completed flight. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Time lost to consent, weather, safety or site-access problems, any recapture, and any wait for payment or pilot coverage is outside the estimate. A late delivery doesn't change the price.
5. How long files stay available
Your gallery and ZIP download are available for 90 days after delivery, so please download and keep your own copies. If files are temporarily withdrawn for a privacy review and then released, the 90 days are extended by the time they were withdrawn.
Send a Drone deletes mission photos and video 12 months after the mission is closed (completed, cancelled or refunded), and never archives them instead. An open dispute, chargeback, recapture, privacy request, incident or claim pauses deletion for that mission until the matter closes. Mission, consent and acceptance records are kept 5 years. Privacy Policy section 7 lists every period.
6. If something is missing
Use Report a problem on your mission page within 5 business days after delivery. We decide whether a no-charge recapture applies. If a recapture still can't deliver the package, we choose one outcome: complete the mission if the files now meet the standard; one final recapture; a partial refund equal to the price multiplied by the share of required items not delivered, never less than 25% of the price; or a full refund.
7. What deliverables are not
Deliverables are observational photographs and video. They are not an inspection, survey, appraisal, engineering report, roof certification, code inspection, environmental assessment or other licensed professional opinion.
8. Your rights in the files
Send a Drone owns the copyright and gives you a broad, permanent license to use the files for business purposes related to the property, including sharing them with MLSs, listing portals, lenders, insurers, contractors, landlords, tenants, associations and government offices for that property. You can't sell them as stock content, add them to a stock library, use them to train AI models, or use them for anything unrelated to the property. We never use your imagery publicly without your written permission for that mission, and never use residential imagery for marketing. Pilots use the files only to deliver the mission.
